  1. “Everyone’s concerned” but not doing shit.

This court has gone rogue and is out of control. The time for concern was over a decade ago. They are incredibly dangerous to American democracy.

THAT’S what has some people concerned? i would have thought gutting the voting rights act would do it.

i blame the people who interview right wing SCOTUS justices and never ask the very simple question “Do you think the Federalist Society feels like they wasted their time and money getting you appointed?” The answer could open a can of worms that have lived too long in the dark.

    Concerned?

Jesus fucking christ. The time for being concerned was the 90s. Bush v. Gore was full alarm. Then blocking Obama’s nominee in 16 was when it was time to panic. It’s been game over for any sort of independence of the court after the country decided to let Trump pick the next three Justices.

  5. Eh Pretty obvious for a while now that wasn’t the case. Truth is coming out is all.

  6. They are just republican operatives. Activists legislating from the bench. The very thing the right has bellowed about for half a century. Never, ever trust a republican.

Absolutely disgusting. They should be ashamed but unfortunately aren’t capable of that.

  8. They heard “white-tie” and for a split second, were all probably SUPER stoked they finally got to take their hoods and cloaks back out of their closets for a night on the town.

It’s mind boggling how far the Supreme Court has fallen. I have lost all respect for that institution and they will never get it back from me without major changes in proccesses, which will never happen.

Like we already didn’t know the deck was stacked. Anyone surprised is ignorant or delusional.

No one and I mean no one should have a lifelong appointment to any position in the government. I don’t know how they think that making the position lifelong with somehow counteract corruption and bribery but it of course it doesn’t. Term limits for the supreme Court.

Republicans need to be hit with RICO charges. Tired of this organized crime just being tolerated because it’s in the face of the public. It’s not okay.

I don’t think there’s an issue with them going to a state dinner to meet a foreign dignitary; the issue is only the 6 conservatives were invited and the 3 liberals were not.

When there is such an obvious sign of disrespect for 1/3 of the bench, the right thing to do is for nobody to attend. Roberts slimy ass should have insisted they all get an invite or none of them would go. Instead he happily went along with the disrespect of the liberal justices and played right into the biases of the current administration, further proving that the SC is filled with partisan hacks.

Not a good look…. They don’t care. Corruption is front and center now.

Just like Clarence Thomas getting his RV

The irony… that we (Uk) have a constitutional monarchy with a unitary parliament and yet we have fully independent judiciary. Whereas, the US, a self described beacon of democracy has a “President” who would be king and a politically aligned judiciary. Some need for reflection when Trump has departed this mortal coil methinks.

They are not concerned about court watchers being concerned.
They are criminals and the term they need is a prison term

  17. This is such a disgusting SCOTUS. ONLY conservative placed judges were invited. Truly impartial judges would decline, but better would be they unite as a single entity and only attend if they all attend. It is SUCH a low bar of morality. FUCK them.

  18. Not only that, but showing up when their liberal colleagues were intentionally excluded shows that they are committed to the politics, not the court.

“Democracy needs to be refreshed with blood on the streets.” I am just paraphrasing others. Don’t ban me for the 47th time.

court watchers “concerned”?! clutching their pearls, even? heavens, what has the supreme court come to?!

any so-called court-watcher that’s merely “concerned” at this point is an ostrich, head buried in sand.

  21. “The majority of Supreme Court justices being openly biased and bribed has ***some*** court watchers ***concerned***”.

Well gosh, I’m sure things will be better now that some of them are a tiny bit concerned.

Fucking traitors.  And the press is too.  “Concerned?”

     Dude it’s outright totalitarianism.

    Quit sane washing this stuff.

What blows my mind is how we know they’re all corrupt and they know they’re all corrupt and we all just keep pretending like they’re not corrupt.

I really think SCOTUS needs to be more accountable, publicly. You can (theoretically 🙄) remain neutral and still answer reporters questions, even if it’s quarterly.
