War fatigue hitting the economy isn’t surprising, history shows prolonged conflicts usually hurt more at home than on the battlefield.

  2. The problem is Putin sold this conflict as some quick and easy land grab and if he throws in the towel his own backers will arrange for his accident. So the violence keeps going and more lies a lost in the name of one mans vanity and arrogance.

All because Putin wanted to go down in the history books.

3 years later, and I still don’t know what Putin expected after the initial attack has completely failed. Most dumb war ever.

Problem is that despite their miserable failures, Putin and Trump is taking everybody down with them.

  5. Crazy how he fell out of the window and his gun misfired hitting him three times in the back

  6. If you can’t win a pointless war you started, and all your opponent wants is for you to go away… There is a very easy option here

Putin won’t stop the war. His vanity and arrogance will make sure of that. He’ll take everyone down with him before he stops his pointless and futile war.

  8. Dictatorships always look invincible… right until they suddenly collapse

Then stop lying to pootin and keep giving him the worst news . He will destroy your country

  10. I honestly believe that Vladdy under-estimated his adversary in Ukraine.

I can’t see Russia and Putin ever abandoning Sevastopol willingly.

  12. How about being tired of terrorizing a bunch of civilians who just want to live in peace? Just wait til the day when Ukraine goes on a real offensive.

Same applies to the US ironically. People whine about gas prices while we terrorize Iran. Just wait til they get the capability to send drones to the US and we’ll see the real consequences of war.

Economic turmoil is fucking nothing. Gas prices are nothing. (In the grand scheme of things.)

  13. He’ll have to take a long look in the rearview mirror.. just to be sure he’s not actually staring out of an upstairs window.

  14. Russian official may want to avoid buildings with more than 1 floor and windows for the foreseeable future

If he’s in a bunker then he can’t actually confirm what’s going on. So they could just make some AI slop to convince him it’s all going to plan etc. while actually stopping the war

  16. No it can’t be! The russbots convinced me that Russia is taking over the baltics, Poland and the whole world soon! /s

  17. That a Russian official is willing to state this openly right now makes the recent stories of Putin hiding in bunkers for fear of assassination attempts much more believable.

  18. The flip side of that, even if after a time they do take Luhansk, one region they are close to taking, they would get an economically devastated area at an astronomical financial cost and over a 1.3m and counting casualties.

Nothing they do right now results in anything that can be claimed as a victory.

  19. He needs to be careful around stairs and windows. Those things are treacherous when you say no to Putin for some reason.

Never has Russia been more ripe for annexation by the USA. They have oil when it’s on the up. They’ve exhausted their military force on a country 20 times smaller with a fourth the population.

We have practice removing leaders from their own country such as Venezuela.

With the Russian people not liking their leadership it’s a perfect storm and probably the best time to do it.

This will end Russias meddling with other countries elections.

The only unfortunate thing is the USA currently has a Russian asset for president and the democrats don’t have the spine to seize the opportunity.

They had enough because they cant even take one region, not because a war of aggression is the wrong thing. Right, got it.

So if the tanks had rolled through europe he would be fine with it.
