Quickly! Put them in crowded planes and distribute them all over the world! There is no time to waste!

Passengers left before tracing started. Evidently, we didn’t learn shit from Covid.

We’ve really learned absolutely nothing from COVID except to expect us to collectively make the worst, most selfish decisions when facing a deadly and contagious pathogen.

And here we see where quarantine rules need to override individual rights… as person, you are going to do everything you can to GTFO… you are willing to risk infecting and killing many people if you have a shot at saving yourself.

THE HORSE HAS ALREADY BOLTED. LOOOONG AGO. OH, MY!!!😱🐴😱🐴😱🐴😱
I always wonder what I would do in that situation. I mean I like to think that I would stay put and do the right thing, but your brain must be screaming at you that you’re not sick, you’re OK, and you need to get to safety. And then you see other people leaving and you think, *what the fuck. Why am I staying here on the plague ship when I’m totally healthy and if I left everything will be absolutely OK.*
I don’t know. I think everyone believes that they’ll always do the right thing, but you can’t underestimate the human instinct for survival and ability to rationalize.

Seriously!!!
Why is it always rich fuckers that travel everywhere that end up spreading these diseases.
If I get sick my contact tracing is… The 7-11 by my house, the liquor store by my house, maybe the gas station depending on the week (which is also the 7-11 by my house).
Hearing the contact tracing of sick mother fuckers: the airport, then immediately went to a performance of Bach’s ninth symphony. Then went to dinner at this restaurant. The next day took a bus to the mountains and stayed at this hotel and dined at these establishments, then went to a baseball game and finally after walking through several children’s hospitals decided to hand out food at every downtown office complex.

Hormuz isn’t even open yet and the media latches on to the next mass hysteria inducing event.
2 of the 3 deaths is a dutch couple that went trekking across south america before the cruise. There’s reason to believe they are the patient zero(es) of this, getting it from rats on their route. It spreads less fast than covid as you need intense contact with the carrier.

The incubation period for Hantavirus ranges from a 1 week to 7 weeks.
Again, it’s been reported in cases to range from 1 week to SEVEN WEEKS.
The median reported incubation time is 14 days. Not trying to be an alarmist but this could become very challenging to contact trace.

If this thing does go global and a vaccine is developed, it’ll be interesting to see how many are still anti-vax with a 40% mortality rate virus.

Is this why everyone I know has a sudden bad cold or is that pattern-matching a trauma response or is that just overdetermined because our herd immunity and hygiene standards and safety systems are fucked and viral load is up across the board

Andes Hantavirus, while not as infectious as Covid-19 at the start of the pandemic, it is SIGNIFICANTLY more deadly.
Covid-19 had a 2-3% mortality rate vs Andes Hantavirus having a 35-50% mortality rate.
