Considering what we know of how hantavirus spreads between humans (with difficulty), this was the expected outcome. She was quarantined out of an abundance of caution, and that’s the smart thing to do, but people treated it like we knew for sure she had caught it, and that was never a high probability.
Will this slow down the “here we go again” folks at all? Probably not.
