My guess though is that Russia doesn’t withdrawal from occupied territories. They will stop offensive actions and declare the military operation over. Their hope will be that if Ukraine continues offensive operations against Russian forces they will quickly lose support of their western allies which will result in Ukraine being forced to accept the stalemate and Russian occupation of eastern Ukraine.

My guess is – Russia will want to keep what they’ve captured but want the rest of the area. If theres no agreement, theyll stay at war but not fight. Similarly to the North Korea and South Korea situation.
