He’s not talking to lower and middle income voters when he talks of a new golden age. Swap “gilded” for “golden” and his speeches match his actions much better.

Betrayal can only occur if there is a sense of loyalty. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen Trump display loyalty whether that has been in business or any other relationship.
