    >Pakistan, while it played a diplomatic conduit between Tehran and Washington, reportedly allowed Iranian military planes to use its airfields as parking, following the outbreak of conflict in the Middle East, potentially shielding them from American and Israeli airstrikes. Tehran also parked some of its civilian aircraft in neighbouring Afghanistan, though it was not clear if military planes were among those flights, CBS News reported, quoting sources.

    >Sources told the American publication that Tehran moved several of its key defence assets to Pakistan Air Force Base in Nur Khan, located just outside Rawalpindi. The strategically important military installation, located near Islamabad, provided a secure shelter for Iran to protect its military and aviation assets while Pakistan officially mediated truce efforts between Tehran and Washington.

    Deja vu moment.!

    Similar situation happened before
They were major non nato ally of America, they took billions of dollars from US for fighting against taliban and Al qaeda, but they played “double game” with US by sheltering and providing safe havens to them especially to “OBL”.

Here’s what Trump said In his tweet about Pakistan in his first term .

    Donald J Trump

The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!

How did they know? It was a surprise attack during a negotiation. Unless the orange turds admin lies again and tipped off his friends

  4. Will be interesting to see if the Americans will shy away from striking Pakistan or not. After all it’s a country with a nuclear arsenal

Fun fact: Iraqi jets bombed Iran using conventional and chemical weapons during the Iran–Iraq War, then a few years later, those exact same jets flew back to Iran and their pilots took the bus home, stranding the planes in Iran.

It was because Iraq was being bombed by coalition forces during the Gulf War and it was better to strand your planes in a former enemy’s territory rather than have them destroyed on the ground.

Ironically, it’s even possible that one of Iranian jets now parked in Pakistan was originally used by Iraq to bomb Iran.

Pakistan let Bin Laden park his ass in an Abbottabad compound 1.3 km away from military base while taking money from US in fight against terrorism.
