I wonder how this kind of drone strikes affect the operators mental health. I mean, maybe they are sitting in a room somewhere several kilometres away and nobody is actively shooting at them. But they get to look their victims in the eyes when they kill them. Maybe it desensitises them that it all happens through a screen.

I always wonder why they don’t carry some kind of reinforced riot shield to try and give some cover from drones…
