For three months, the warriors of the “Tymur Special Unit” of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR MO) have been carrying out a comprehensive defensive operation in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
The goal of the intelligence operatives is to disrupt the enemy’s offensive plans and prevent its advance toward the regional center.
During active operations, HUR special forces eliminated more than 300 occupiers, killed and wounded, while another 39 Russian servicemen were taken prisoner.
With precise drone and artillery strikes, the military intelligence units are systematically limiting the logistical capabilities of the Russian forces — due to supply shortages, the occupiers are increasingly refusing to conduct assault operations in the area.
The actions of the special forces made it possible to stabilize the defense on positions favorable to the Ukrainian defenders and secure Zaporizhzhia.
The operation is being carried out by the units Khymera, RDK, Brotherhood, Aratta, Siberian Battalion, Stuhna, First Line, 1514, Paragon, BDK, Guardians of Darkness, Raven Group, Art Division, and the 6th Special Operations Detachment, all of which are part of the “Tymur Special Unit” of the HUR MO of Ukraine.
