This is hilarious. Venezuela would be the 2nd largest state by population (entirely made up of Spanish speakers – so MAGA will love that) and also the 2nd largest by size!
It would also be by far the worst state by per capita GDP (like by a factor of 10) and a total nominal GDP somewhere in the region of the Dakotas – so an insane quantity of federal aid would be required to flow in to bring it up to even a minimal US standard.
All round, a, uh, horrible idea. It would cripple the US.
