Pardon power needs a fine tuned limit of what is appropriate. It was intended to right an unjust harsh ruling of standing law. Now it just means “get out of jail free” for -Anything- For the right price.

I think it says so much that when he was asked about pardoning Diddy he said he didn’t think so. Not because Diddy stood trial and was found guilty by a jury of his peers, not because he’s on video beating a woman ruthlessly. But because Diddy wasn’t very nice to trump in 2020.

Per the article, “Some people in the White House have expressed concerns.” We all know what “concerns” mean when it comes to the GOP: performative BS.
