If you want the community to enact justice themselves, this is how you do it. I’d never accept such a sentence on my own family being killed.

Not an ebike. It was an illegal electric motorbike. Which means he commited at a minimum:
* Driving not in accordance to his licence
* Driving without valid insurance
* Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
* Dangerous driving
* Driving without valid MOT/Tax
The media loves to push “cyclists are bad”. This was a motorbike in which the rider was riding illegally. Nothing to do with a bicycle.

Pathetic sentence. He was on drugs using his phone no regard for anyone else. These e-bikers need proper enforcement and regulated from the point of sale if that’s not achievable then a total ban.
