  1. Trump is going to share an AI-generated image of himself as Homelander *any* *day* *now*.

Well but this fits perfectly well with the killing of Catholics in Lebanon and not letting priests run mass in jerusalem! The New testament is being ripped to shreds in front of us. The zionists are setting the stage. What do you think comes after iran?

Fake Christian’s is what they are and never mind the Bible. If hell is real they will find out. I’m sure Jesus did not endorse child rape.

Trump is MAGAturd’s prophet. He and his sons can rawdog their teenage daughters right Infront of them, and the only words MAGA will utter is:

    “more lube sirs?”

How many statues does he have now? We need to remove them when this is done, not linger like the civil war statues that people do mental gymnastics trying to keep around.

MAGA Christians don’t care, they’ll worship the Golden Piggy above YHWH all day everyday.

Breaking three of the ten commandments that MAGA knows is what they’re about

I definitely don’t know because I am far from religious, but I would guess what is meant by this is sort of something along the lines of “don’t worship the representation of the thing while devaluing the thing itself” – which is difficult to explain, but a good place to start would be [confusing the map for the territory](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Map%E2%80%93territory_relation)

Basically don’t worship the stock market while devaluing the real economy. Don’t worship “money” while devaluing the thing that represents, which is hours of peoples lives.

Referring to the specific instance in this story, don’t worship the statue while devaluing what or who the statue is. Though considering where we are on the timeline, that gets a little confusing, and in a way the statue is sort of a statue of greed and stocks and all the imaginary bullshit itself. Straight out of central casting

    edit:

    >After a 22-foot gold-covered statue of President Donald Trump raising his fist, known as the “Don Colossus,” was dedicated at the Trump National Doral Miami last week, Trump ally and evangelical pastor Mark Burns defended it in a long and meandering post on X.

    >“Let me say this plainly: this is not a golden calf,” he wrote. “We worship the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone. This statue is not about worship. It is about honor.”

And as far as that is concerned, I think if “the real Jesus” was asked whether he would prefer people to pay him lip service, or to actually listen to and act out the things he taught, there would be zero hesitation in his answer.

It is very possible – seen across the political ideological spectrum – to claim to support some thing, while actively doing the exact opposite.

    edit2: From Merriam-Webster

    worship

    1
: to honor or show reverence for as a divine being or supernatural power
    2
: to regard with great or extravagant respect, honor, or devotion

Because Trump was so careful about following biblical commandments before.

We know. But Evangelicals aren’t Christians, so they don’t care.

The Republicans like the pick and choose what they believe from
The bible, like what they believe from
    The constitution.

They truly do not care about their religion, it’s all about money…

  14. PatriotNews_dot_com on

The thing about the whole statue thing is, it’s not in it of itself the golden calf. Trump IS the golden calf

  15. TheLostRanger0117 on

Yeah, we know, among all the other things wrong with this whole bullshit administration. It feels like those of us that are sane are watching a train wreck in slow motion

  16. Now why would an evangelical Christian care what an actual demon has to say about Christ anointed Donald? That you even deny his divinity *proves* you’re in Satan’s Army!

  17. Hahahhahaha as if he or anybof his sycophants give a shit. Thise MFers are the golden calf worshipers fr.

  18. I use to naively think republicans just refused to read the Bible…turns out I was wrong.

    They can’t read at all.

  19. For a lot of people, that’s the uncomfortable part not even the politics, but how some supporters treat politicians almost like religious figures. Once any leader starts getting placed above principles, criticism, or faith itself, people are going to see it as crossing a line.

Almost half of Americans doesn’t care. Half of the rest don’t care. That doesn’t say a lot for America or americans.

  21. blackmobius on

The bible humpers that worship him gave up on thier own religious ethics a long time ago

  22. Outside of the obvious grifting, this is the only thing this demented president functions on. Statues, ballrooms, National Gardens, buildings with his name on them. All visual “look at me” things. Nothing that is about the people, or anything that makes the country better, more secure, or anything at all related. Only shiny baubles that he thinks will mesmerize his MAGA base.
