In Oakland, CA some years back, a freeway exchange collapsed after a much smaller fire than this one. But those moskow orks just drive on nonchalantly.

Smart of them to station the emotional support  fire trucks at the oil depots in advance of the inevitable strikes

  3. they have recent footage of FP-2 drones firing unguided rockets at targets…. what a perfect way to visit a refinery (Not saying they used it here but It was the first time I saw the videos of that)

As this is about 45km from Moscow, I expect the smoke will be able to be seen from central Moscow, and the Kremlin. What a lovely sight is must be for the Ruskies!

I love this for them, here’s to hoping that raining oil is in the forecast

“Pouring water on an oil fire can turn a dangerous situation into a catastrophe. Here’s why: when water hits burning oil, it sinks beneath the oil’s surface and instantly vaporizes due to the high heat. This rapid transformation creates a violent steam explosion, spreading the burning oil over a larger area. The result? A bigger fire—and possibly an explosion.”

  7. I had to look up what this place is…

**The Target:** The facility is a **Linear Production and Dispatch Station (LPDS)** operated by [JSC Transneft – Upper Volga](https://antikor.ua/en/articles/839013-masshtabnaja_ataka_na_moskvu_i_oblastj_pod_udarom_npz_zavod_elektroniki_i_neftebazy_estj_razrushenija_ot_pvo) near the village of Durikino. It serves as a major fuel-loading hub connected to the primary refined products pipeline surrounding Moscow, storing and distributing diesel and gasoline across the capital region.

**The Damage:** At least one **fuel storage tank was directly hit**, triggering explosions and a large, intense blaze. Local residents have captured footage of thick black smoke rising from the terminal that is visible from kilometers away.

**Broader Context:** This strike was part of a coordinated overnight wave involving scores of Ukrainian long-range drones targeted deep inside Russian territory. Other reported targets in the Moscow region during this wave included the JSC Angstrem semiconductor plant in Zelenograd, the Kapotnya oil refinery, and areas near Sheremetyevo Airport.
