The first Ukrainian KAB is ready for combat use

We continue developing Ukrainian high-tech solutions for the frontline. A Brave1 participant has created the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb, which has already passed the necessary tests and is ready for combat use.

The development took 17 months. The Ukrainian KAB has a unique design and was created with the realities of modern warfare in mind. It is not a copy of Western or Soviet solutions, but an original development by Ukrainian engineers for effectively striking fortifications, command posts, and other enemy targets tens of kilometers deep after release.

The warhead weighs 250 kg. The Ministry of Defence has already purchased the first experimental batch. Pilots are currently practicing combat scenarios and adapting the use of the new system in real battlefield conditions.

Ukraine is moving from importing individual solutions to creating its own high-tech weapons that systematically strengthen the Defense Forces and provide a technological advantage on the battlefield.

Soon, Ukrainian KABs will be used against enemy targets. We are scaling solutions that increase strike range and accuracy and change the rules of modern warfare.

  1. NICE!

Although of course it’s shameful that it’s needed, that the US cannot be trusted to deliver kits. Hopefully Europe is developing their own versions as well.

  2. Good, basically what russia is using. Both countries have a numerous stockpile of unguided bombs, those upgrades make them more adequate in current times. JDAM in US is the same thing.

Im curious how russians feel when a whole country is developing these weapons just for you.
