Andy Burnham will be overjoyed at confirmation that some of the right vote will be split away from Reform. Still not a done deal for him but he’ll take all the help he can get.

Suspect it’s a case of sour grapes from Lowe deciding not to step aside for Reform to get the best shot at a win. The (further) chaos a loss would cause for Labour mustn’t have been attractive enough in comparison.

I am not a restore voter by a long shot, but, a small business owner from the area sounds better than someone using the constituency for power.

If I had elected someone that then stood down, to give an outsider a route to power, I wouldn’t be voting for that party

Very interested to see how Restore do outside of Great Yarmouth.

A choice between an Andy Burnham Labour and restore would be tough. No chance I’d vote reform now.

  4. Restore split the vote and give labour a credible leader. Lowe is a useful idiot.

It’s funny seeing people give a local business owner some bizarre noble savage treatment, as if it’s an inherent quality that overrides any criticism

Probably would vote Reform if in Makerfeild. With the recent incident of Henry Novak, eighteen years old and dead after being stabbed multiple times, police deciding best to arrest him and handcuff whilst he was dying and after false accusations of rascism by the perpetrator.

Look, all I’m saying is that you can tell she’s a Restore supporter

What’s the beef between reform and restore? Where do they differ on policy?

Local business owner, campaigning on local interest, attractive, white in a big leave area.

If the vote wasn’t split she’d do well.

It would be hilarious if Burnham fell at the first hurdle as well.
