Shooting blindly through a solid wood door during an investigation is an absolute failure of basic firearm safety, let alone federal law enforcement training. If a regular citizen fired through a door at a sound, they’d be in a cell immediately. Qualified immunity shouldn’t protect someone from a literal blind shooting in an apartment complex.

Don’t we have the ICE memo to prove all these Minneapolis shootings were intentional or was I dreaming?

Gotta love how DOJ is simultaneously conceding their agents lied under oath about the rationale for the shooting *and* that the prosecution of unlawfully shooting someone are merely “actions by Minnesota sanctuary politicians [which] are unlawful and nothing more than a political stunt.”

Big oof starting it all off:

“ICE chased Mr. Aljorna when he was working for DoorDash,” Moriarty said. “He was not the person that they thought he was.”

If they remove these agents’ ability to shoot frightened people through their doors with absolutely no fear of consequences, america might as well put on a tutu and go eat fruit cake down at the sissy bar.

If firing blindly through a door isn’t considered reckless for law enforcement, then the standard basically stops meaning anything
