  1. Guess those Epstein files weren’t so important after all. Gee, I wonder why. Huh.

    Right Republicans?

  2. velveteenyrabbit on

My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined (though I was expecting it). I disagree with Massie on almost everything, but it was nice to see one measly republican stand up to Trump on the Epstein files. It’s genuinely hard to watch that shit show

  3. Afraid-Savings-9114 on

If anyone though MAGA would take a step back, it’s clear they are just going to get even more extreme. Massie went against their leader so he had to go.

  4. SoothingWafer on

Just to be clear, republican voters were averse to Massie because he wanted to expose people raping children.

Republicans do not like child rapists being exposed or punished. They like child rape. They can’t get enough of it.

  5. So Massie came into office in 2012 on the wave of the tea party movement. I find it funny he’s now voted out of office because he stuck to those principles and pushed the Epstein files. Literally, he didn’t vote for Republican over spending and supported the release of the Epstein files and the Republican voters who put him in office turned on him.

  6. I feel sorry for anyone with a brain who lives in Kentucky. It must be tough dealing with everything.

  7. Republicans have poured millions into Trump’s revenge crusade.  Indiana, Louisiana, and now Kentucky.  All to get rid of Republicans who will vote with
him 99% of the time, because his ego can only allow absolute 100% obedience.  Millions of dollars that could have been spent fighting off Democratic challengers in swing districts and states, but now won’t be.  Trump is only helping the Democrats.

  8. People that think Trumps popularity is waning and anything has changed should take these elections as a sobering reality that these people have learned nothing and will burn this country to the ground.

We are living in the exact same world we were living in 2024. Theres no real way back from Trump.

Democrats will continue to want to take the high road and continue to lose and not throw themselves on the gears to save this country.

    Its over Johnny

AIPAC and Israel control our government. This is proof. Look at how much Israelis spent to unseat this dude lmao.

  10. Temporary-Cress7233 on

Wow….im not democrat or republican, but DAMN! This guy was calling out the elite and MAGA cult voted him out? They really live in a homelander fantasy world. Disgusting. I thought they was all about Justice and draining the swamp. Something sick is sweeping this country. This is not it.

  11. I think it needs to be said that AIPAC (Israel) spent 20+ million dollars on Gallrein, which is the most spent on any GOP primary candidate for congress *ever.*

Massie had a ton of republican support, but in the age of information you cannot compete with the propaganda machines at work in the modern day.

That counts for reddit too, the propaganda machine is at work here as well, just working a different angle.

A fucking shame, Thomas Massie was one of the last *true* republicans who actually voted for what his constituents wanted, and defended the constitution instead of what the people in power tell him to vote on.

  12. FavRootWorker on

He voted with Trump 96% of the time and Trump still got rid of him. And his biggest crime against the emperor? Was trying to expose PDFs.

  13. Nice to know if you have principles and some level of common human decency, you’re automatically kicked out of the republican party.

  14. tomato_soup_stan on

Massie is a terrible person, but it isn’t good news that one of the few genuinely anti-AIPAC/war-in-the-Middle-East politicians is being forced out in favor of some MAGA-flavored neocon jellyfish.

  15. How could people vote for anyone trump recommends??? Like how? Are we living in two separate worlds . After seeing everything crumble and lie after lie gas prices, beef … I can go on and on …. Something is fishy and I have a feeling Elon is the source

  16. AIPAC went all out to defeat Massie for demanding the release of the Epstein files.

I think if we ever wondered who Epstein was working for…now we know.

  17. VanguardAvenger on

On the one hand Thomas Massie voted against making lynching a hate crime, defended Kyle Rittenhouse, routinely blocked disaster relief, and wants to take away people’s Healthcare, and opposes vaccination.

On the other hand he’s anti pedophile.

Guess which hand the Republicans found unacceptable?

  18. ColoradoClimber513 on

At some point, if we want law and order, we’ll have to enforce it ourselves. Talking about how disgusting this is, will need to be followed with real action. How we do this is over my head, but words haven’t done shit, so far.
Now we have a king. Whether through tax revolt, general strike, we have to take our government back. And in doing this, we will need to defend ourselves from them. And that will require being organized and standing together in solid communities that are organized face to face and not scattered through the internet with people we don’t even know.

  19. IntellectAndEnergy on

Massie is now free to win the general election as an Independent. He could lay waste to the corruption, criminality and lies that are the foundation of the Trump regime.

  20. Icy-Recognition-8700 on

Boomers are the worst generation to ever exist and the voting pattern in this election shows why

  21. casualmango-33 on

I hope he just goes scorched earth for the next seven months straight.

  22. This goes beyond a reasonable Republican being replaced by a maga stooge.

It sends a clear message to all Republicans in office. Support Trump 100% or face his wrath and spend the rest of your career fighting him and the party.

He has officially turned the republican party into the Trump party. Get on board or get cast out.

  23. I don’t like that guy, but I’ll say that he is one of the only republicans I’ve seen who is genuinely trying to get some justice for Epstein victims.

  24. Be funny if he still ran as an independent and won. That would piss Trump off.

  25. AppropriateSea5746 on

This just demonstrated that Trump still has a massive cult following and Dems shouldn’t get complacent in November.

  26. Deceptiveideas on

What I find hilarious is in the conservative communities, they’re saying Massie is the old guard and that they need a new fresh face.

…which they replaced a 55 year old with a 68 year old dinosaur. You can’t make this shit up.

  27. StopLoading_ on

Over in the conservative form it appears to be mixed, but people are happy Massie is out because the other guy is going to help pass the maga agenda. I mean it’s not like Massie didn’t vote for Republican bills 90% of the time. Yes men and rubber stamps is all maga cares about.

  28. Ok-Possession-3771 on

If Trump was to run again on 2028 he will win again even if in an economic depression. The more deranged he acts the more he movilizes his magas and closeted magas. Thats their comunicación and movilización hidden code!!!

  29. vinegarfingers on

Massive won his previous 4 primaries with an average of over 75%.

Despite what people think of his politics, he’s served Kentucky for ~14 years and Republicans never questioned his support for their state or party.

Trump comes along and Massie votes against or speaks out on a couple key issues (Epstein, funding bill, Iran/Israel) and all of sudden his state constituency throws him out the door for a complete stranger who hardly engaged with anyone throughout his candidacy – all because Massie upset Trump.

I will understand the blind, unwavering support for Trump – who could give a shit about KY – even when it so clearly is against their own interests. These people couldn’t tell what’s good for them if it smacked them in the face.

    They deserve it all.

  30. Just to be 100% clear on everything–Massie is with Trump on every issue except the Epstein Files.

The deciding factor in this primary was protecting pedophiles.

  31. Secret_Account07 on

Here I was rooting like hell for a Republican

God forbid we hold pedophiles accountable

  32. So fucking gross that Trump’s endorsements still have weight to them. His endorsement should make someone lose
