  1. Proving that *people who aren’t fanatically obedient to Trump and Trump alone aren’t welcome in Trump’s cult*.

Duh, they only have room for pedophiles, oligarchs, war mongers, and morons.

this article really misses the mark. this guy got burned because he pushed for the release of the epstein files, and in Trump’s GOP pedophiles are a protected class.

The problem is that people repulsed by MAGA are leaving, so those left behind are even more radical than before, and that is who is voting in primaries. Those leaving are falling into Independent territory because there is no party they feel affiliated with.

The Republican party is being destroyed by Republicans.

  5. It’s hard to overcome 33 million bucks thrown into the ring–which in a small district is the equivalent of fixing the vote.

  6. It probably should have but this surprised me. Not exactly a fan of his but he’s literally been doing all the stuff Republicans claim to want – expose the Epstein files, fight against new wars, call out deficit spending regardless of party, etc. Literally insane he’s getting booted for another sycophant. Mid-terms are our last chance, if these Trump worshipers get into office we’re completely cooked.

Hopefully it will prove to be that Trump’s GOP isn’t welcome in America in November.

Millions of dollars went to his opponent from the Pro-Israel lobby.

  9. I honestly have no hope for this country’s processes anymore. The literal definition of an empty suit won solely because he was bankrolled by a foreign country and endorsed by our cult leader of a president. Nobody thinks for themselves anymore, it’s solely whatever Trump wants. I wanna say it’s a boomer issue but I’m starting to think we are just perpetually doomed by our lowest IQ citizens

Maybe he should run as an independent. Likely wouldn’t win, but to spit in the eye of trump.

The real question is, can this guy Gallrein win the mid-terms? What does it help the GOP if they lick Trump’s boots only to lose general elections?

I find the whole situation bewildering.

  12. Republicans had to spend a fortune to unseat Massie. Elon Musk paid close to $300 million to elect Trump. Citizens United was one of the worst things to ever happen to our country. Trump told John Fetterman he would make him rich beyond his wildest dreams if he became a Republican. Can you imagine what he has already given to Todd Blanche and his other disgraced sycophants? What about helping families struggling every day? This country has sunk so low because of the corrupt fraud in the White House and his enablers.

How does such an unpopular President still have so much influence?

    Sincere question.

  14. Trump flat out spelled it out for us when he said something to the effect that Republican voters don’t care about the budget or economy all they care about is trans stuff and culture war bullshit.

If good economics were a priority republicans would have been voted out of power ages ago. Red states are the poorest states in the country. Clearly the policy of the GOP is shit economics.

So they are clearly voting for something different. Bigotry, tribalism, conspiracy, religious delusion, ignorance, and wealth are the big ones

Let ’em eat each other. Who cares? Let’s not pretend this guy didn’t vote for deep cuts to America’s social safety net. Let’s not pretend this guy wasn’t trying to be MAGA until Trump made it impossible. Being chill about the Epstein files is not a Get Out Of Asshole Free card. Fuck Thomas Massie.

I don’t understand why everyone is always making jokes in here. This is reprehensible and everyone just comes in these threads and tries to outdo each other being funny. When is anyone going to stand the fuck up, man the fuck up, and start doing something? I’m tired of coming to these threads like it’s Comedy Central. When are we going to organize, unify and start doing something? And trust me I know they’ll be some moron comic on this post with yet another joke. Fuck off

The Republican Party traded principles for Trump. They don’t stand for anything beyond what one man wants. Family values, small government, constitutional originalism… all gone, replaced with one degenerate geriatric.

AIPAC spent more money on his opponent in this primary than any money that ever been spent on any primary. Might as well assume every time we see the letter R next to a politician’s name from now on, it’s really an “I”.
