I remember learning about the Howard Dean scream, but I think that was before 2006.

Can this PLEASE happen during a presidential election cycle where we get a heavily blue House and Senate so we don’t end up with a neutered Democratic administration like the last three times!?
The public at best votes for heavily divided government and then they wonder why the change in Democratic administrations is nowhere close to what it could be. Even in 2008. Our filibuster-proof Senate majority was gone in the length of a sneeze.
Midterm blowouts like 2018 are of course preferred, but let’s not kid ourselves as to the actual power that comes from it. Look no further than what Trump/GOP did (and didn’t do) in 2019 and 2020.
