Trump has a grudge against Ukraine and Zelensky. It is personal for him, ever since 2019. It’s as simple as that. His adoration of Putin doesn’t help either.
He does not care about any geopolitical or political reasoning about why he should help Ukraine and he does not care if it is in the USA’s interest. He doesn’t care about the current state of the battlefield and who it favours. He will always lean against Ukraine.

Can’t we just ship Trump and Putin on a honeymoon on some remote island? Or maybe Epstein island – surely they would feel at home there together.
