Seriously, we know this will impact some people but the whole thing is basically what economists of all different stripes have been saying needs to be done for years.
It’s just if they’re more right aligned, they tend to also add in immigration cuts/rebalancing, whereas more left aligned point to Covid as evidence immigration is not a significant impact.
We could debate that till the cows come home but they still largely agree on CGT and NG changes.
