If Ukrainians want a European future, that choice should be decided in Kyiv and Brussels, not vetoed in Moscow.

The best result of this entire conflict is a stronger Europe that takes seriously its commitment to its security.

Ukraine was and still is the most corrupt country in Europe.

I would think the war has to end first, do something meaningful and structural fighting corruption then Europe can think about joining or whatever.

Its idiotic to be talking about that now

It’s the obvious, logical, next step.

Ukraine is fighting for it’s sovereignty – and in doing so, have been fighting for Europe as a whole.

Should NATO fall apart, they (Ukraine) would be an essential component of a European\Canadian NATO-like replacement.

It’s a no-brainer – especially now that Orban is out of the picture.
