You know Canada is one of the worst offenders of contributing below the minimum to NATO. You can just look at the state of their armed forces equipment–its really bad. They have some PR stuff like special forces but overall it’s just really bad. Unless that changes any defensive alliance Canada joins will have to carry Canada more than vice versa.

If one wanted to move to Canada with a wife who hates cold weather, where would one be directed?
Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario seem to be the provinces seeking my skill set but I don’t know much about weather, cost of living etc.

As a born and raised Canadian (that happens to be Albertan), both the US, and the Alberta separatists, can suck my balls. I am so glad Canada is aligning with EU, and distancing ourselves from the US. And I can’t wait for the separatists to get steamrolled.

What an absolute disaster this is for the United States. The damage done by the Trump administration with other countries will take many years to repair. Now Canada, who we share 3000 mile border with is heading towards sphere of another power block. Basically reversing 100 years of positive relations.
