Hard to believe she's proposing something that will actually hurt the gas industry and actually benefit the average Aussie.

Gina doesn’t have massive stakes in gas, think Santos en all.
She said on the radio yesterday that she “wants to make friends” with the gas and coal industries, not punish them.
Which is strange for Pauline because their hands are so far up her ass through “Gifts” and donations she’s basically a human puppet. The sleep she got traveling on Ginas private jet constantly must not have helped her think.
She doesn’t have a proper tax policy for our resources industry because we’d know it by now, instead she just yells at reporters that ask her about it.

Last year the Norwegian Sovereign wealth fund generated approximately $250billion USD in interest.
The key is for the government’s income from gas to not go into general revenue but instead accumulate into a fund in which only the interest can be spent and never the capital.
