It collapsed in 2016. And Americans helped to make it happen. Gleefully I might add.

Black Americans have been trending Republican since the gay marriage decision, so they collectively decided taking away rights from gay people was worth losing their own.

It’s analogous to LBJ’s statement about white Americans in the 1960s, that you don’t have to improve their lives, you just have to make black lives worse and they’ll vote for you.

It collapsed when people choose to not participate in elections, when the powerful such as RBG, Pelosi and Biden refused to step down when it was their time to step down, when the powerful such as Obama choose not to prosecute GWB for lying about WMD, when republican politicians choose to chase myopic scams and deals with foreign powers and corporations, when republican voters choose to believe everything that they hear without any scrutiny, when many democrats choose to second-guess themselves about whether grass is really green or not; and more or less, as a generalization, when everyone cared more about short term dollars and cents in their bank accounts over moral principle.

And every Republican voter, whether they like it or not, are complicit, and guilty of giving aid, comfort and assistance to a known traitor and documented pedophile.
Which in the eyes of the law, makes them an accomplice. Guilty of treason.

Conservative (republicans) are actively hurting POC. They have since they stopped being Dixiecrats and became the GOP.

All because most y’all hated trans women that much you were willing to throw it all away. United we stand divided we fall. Gg

  6. The duplicity of reversing redistricting intended to approximate the number of majority-Black Congressional districts in a state with the state’s racial composition, because redistricting based on race is unconstitutional — while then redistricting again to produce majority-White districts, because they are likely to vote Republican, is both jaw-dropping and so immoral as to be reprehensible and an abomination.

I wonder if any newspapers of record might have been a major force pushing us in that direction?

The entire project is to eliminate any policy enacted prior to 1933, while eliminating any thoughts and ideology that existed after 1890.

It’s not collapsing, it’s being purposefully destroyed and the resistance has failed.

  10. You mean the man who was sued by the government for violating the civil rights act (refusing to rent housing to black people) in the 70s would use presidential power to disenfranchise minorities? Consider me shocked.

Civility, Couth and selflessness are fossils in America’s deathbed.

Our system allowed a pedophile, criminal and terrible human to rule for over a decade now.

  12. Every single eligible voter needs to ensure they’re doing everything they can to make it to the ballot box. It’s one person, one vote. No one else can do this for you.

  13. The southern strategy really did play out. And here we were thinking we could never function at the level of commitment of something like Chinas 50 year plan.

I will never forgive republicans, and, also, every fucking leftist who spent the last 20 years disparaging America because it wasn’t perfect. Well, congrats, enjoy your fascist hellscape and worse everything

Women were stripped of body autonomy before this. They’re going after gays and gay marriage next. Republicans are going down the Project 2025 ‘to do’ checklist.

Bad headline. Collapsing is passive; this is occurring as a matter of intent by a bad actor.

“I must confess that over the past few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro’s great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen’s Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to “order” than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: “I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action”; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man’s freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a “more convenient season.” Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.”

Black president and female vice president stay silent on domestic terrorism and “inside out” exploitation of Internet connected humans in Oklahoma for trillion dollar media companies, literally acts of rape and slavery for corporate profit. Now ask if Donald Trump will be virtuous on the other team.
