Manipulative information is actively being spread in Russian media about the alleged damage to civilian infrastructure by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
We inform that the Armed Forces of Ukraine target military infrastructure and objects used for military purposes, strictly adhering to the norms of international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war.
Thus, on the night of May 22, 2026, a series of objects of the Russian aggressor were hit, including an oil refinery, ammunition depots, air defense systems, command posts, and enemy forces, including one of the headquarters of the "Rubicon" unit in the area of the city of Starobilsk.
✅For reference. "Rubicon" is a Russian military special unit "Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies", whose representatives regularly target civilian populations and civilian objects in the territory of Ukraine.

You know something significant has happened when the Russians complain about it. The truth is all Russia has to do to prevent this from happening again is withdraw from Ukraine. All Ukraine has to do is give up their nation. In the end the building may be military, it may be civilian, it may be military hiding behind civilians, but in the end Russia bears responsibility for it.

There is no conceivable way russia would complain about destruction of their civillian population. If they complain that loudly, then Ukraine has hit something very valuable to their war effort.
