If you were on the fence about covid legitimacy as a threat, the effectiveness of the vaccine, etc – one look at a family member dying of ebola and you would be beating down the doors to get protected in any way possible.
Ebola is no joke, no room for debate.

While 600 suspected cases between Congo & Uganda isn’t that many but they don’t have the greatest Healthcare systems, and this could spread fast. WHO did say that they did think the chances were decent for this to become a pandemic in those two countries.

I think I read somewhere that Ebola isnt really a contender for being a global threat because its too good at killing people. Infected people die before they can spread it to too many people, before long the disease kills itself out.

Please don’t come to the US, people are too stupid to be able to contain this. Plenty of Americans will think that they’re “bigger than this” and “it will never happen to them”. Those people won’t wear a mask to prevent a pandemic but will wear a mask to kill innocents in the streets.
