I find it incredible that the government has allowed this farce of NHS dental care access to go on so long. Far too expensive to find it properly so the best thing to do now in my view is to means test it so that those who can’t afford to access private dentistry get priority access. It annoys me as a higher earner that not only am I paying for my own private dentistry but that I’m paying for other well paid people to have theirs done on the NHS though my taxes.

There are tents outside our dentist. People have been there for months just in case there are ever any new places.

Stories like this make me glad I’ve got good cover near me. £18.50 a month gets me 2 dental and 2 hygienist visits a year, makes things so much easier to budget when it’s an additional subscription.
