Getting a majority without a coalition of at least 2 parties is unheard of in German politics. The people of Saxony-Anhalt are properly pissed at the current ruling parties for the the AfD to even have a chance to do it.
The strategy of ever more bizarre ruling coalitions and bizarre voting patterns in parliament to keep pretending the far right doesn’t exist surely didn’t make things better.
