For those that don’t know, hypersonic missiles are literally insane because they travel much faster than the speed of sound and standard defense systems can’t basically stop them. It can easily flatten several city blocks. I feel for Kyiv.

The Oreshnik is a wonder weapon, only useful with a nuclear warhead, otherwise it’s less accurate and more expensive than an Iskander

It missed Kyiv by about 60km to the south and landed on some garages in Bila Tserkva. Also looking the available footage, you can see how it’s submunition just free falling, so while the missile itself can be hypersonic, the final rounds are clearly not.
