If there is any sanity left in this country, then the republican party will rapidly die after Trump does, and then the democrats will split into two new parties.
If things go really well, a significant number of states will enact ranked choice voting, which would undermine the two party system altogether and allow 3rd parties to have a realistic chance of victory in any given election.

Understand Trump is NOT negotiating these deals. Trump is the show horse (jackass). He has other people doing the due diligence/negotiating. Trump knows nothing about the issues of international commerce/nuclear bomb making or the complexity of the Middle East.
But the problem for the US — most of seasoned u international US negotiators/research staff has been fired by DOGE and the Big Bad GOP Budget bill.
