Nicola knew nothing about it obviously…

I mean who among can say for sure their spouse isn’t squirrelling away hundreds of grand from an organisation we’re both at the top of?

  2. But St Nicola knew absolutely *nothing*, of course. Nor never visited her mother in law and wondered how and why she’d bought a massive bus.

The only part of this that surprises me is that he actually admitted it.

Nicola will be mortified. That he’s admitted it.

  4. Good. Get him punished appropriately and anyone else associated with the charges.

I guess the plan was that they’d be independent before anyone found out about it, and so would be able to make the charges disappear.

And they will be arrested, charged, jailed and made to repay it like the rest of us would right….right?

With how long the investigation has been going on, it was pretty clear he did something naughty.

£400,000 over 12 years though? Way less than I anticipated, 33 grand a year is basically pocket change for a political party as big as the SNP.

Edit. Express surprise at how low the amount is and get downvotes lol.

33 grand a year is a fake middle manager paid to yourself. When you’re in control of several million pounds per year that’s a small amount.

  10. So he cost Scotland £2million in investigating SNP corruption by covering tracks and hiding it all?

    The nationalist grift never stops.

  11. >**He said officers had spent more than four years carrying out “extensive enquiries across Europe”.**

    >Houston said the Branchform investigation had been “one of the most high-profile investigations in recent times” and had been carried out under “the most intense public scrutiny”.

Good for Police Scotland to spend over 4 years investigating this serious crime.

  12. Economics KILLS!

This is shocking…and then we remember that there are people taking hundreds of millions from us. The money their stealing puts pressure on our communities, councils, NHS and most certainly leads to premature deaths right across the nation.

Until we’re ready and willing to draw a parallel with economic pressures and death rates. We’re never going to have a strong enough deterrent because we’ll be angry and appalled enough to demand the barriers that should have prevented this leech from such easy manipulation of our governance.

These people have no concept of the suffering they cause and many of them are using migrants as an escape. Sometimes immorality is legal. It’s injust and punishing our society.

This prick is one of thousands stealing bread from our tables!

  13. >Before the hearing got under way the judge, Lord Young, approved a legal bid by BBC Scotland to obtain a full list of the items embezzled by Murrell.

    >The documents, which were released this morning, run to about 130 pages.

Yeah, he fell on his sword to protect the party.

There’s zero chance their treasurer up until 2020 and a lot of accountancy staff weren’t complicit if they could fill 130 pages. They just cannot be proven beyond reasonable doubt to be malicious rather than the most incompetent people to ever exist.
