Its like pointing out that mass immigration is bad, there are professional victims who want to be offended by everything.
There is absolutely no proof that any bodies are buried there.
I see the people who did their own research on vaccines are doing their own research on residential schools now.
Calling out claims is also an important step in Truth and reconciliation.
You guys, get a life. There are lots of things to get mad over, this ain’t it.

Please pay attention to who is *really* making your life harder.
Just a reminder for everyone. This school had at least one priest actually convicted for abuse of children and there’s genetic evidence that others were raped by priests.
It’s important to call out falsehoods, but make sure you’re not defending actual pedophiles.
“They’re not outright murderers, they just raped and neglected children” is not the strong argument many of you think it is.
Even if there ARE bodies there they weren’t murdered. We know there were cemeteries at some of these schools. Life was tough. People died from TB. This is not a secret. They were given proper burials.

**Original claim/implication:** Mass grave of murdered kids
**Fact:** Unconfirmed ground penetrating radar anomalies of what may be decomposing tree stumps of an old orchard, rocks, old septic field pipes, animal burrows, or a previously marked but since neglected cemetery. If it, or a portion of it, are a cemetery then the most likely cause of death was diseases of the era like tuberculosis, measles, and influenza (such as the 1918 Spanish Flu). The ground penetrating radar work and report was done by a new instructor at a second rate university, who lacked expertise in ground penetrating radar, and whose report was not peer reviewed prior to publication.

Kind of obvious that the original claim/implication was used very manipulatively to garner sympathy, money, and power. As an example, the federal government’s spend on just two indigenous-specific departments exploded to an unsustainable $63 billion/year by financial year 2024.
