Talarico should be like, “there’s no truth to the rumor I’m vegan but there’s a lot of truth to the rumor Paxton is a meathead”

  2. BrilliantForeign8899 on

If he’s actually vegan that deserves real respect. People can live vegan, just most of us don’t have the discipline to

It is going to be so disgusting, like a bunch of middle schoolers with a budget and media access.

If the best they have is Talafreako they’re going to lose by double digits

In awe of the reasoning of Texas voters

It’s so fucking hilarious, all these dipshits can talk about is Jesus Jesus Jesus then they meet an actual Christian and he’s unrecognizable.   Like Texas has Seventh Day Adventists, no?  I think they do.   That’s a thing in interfaith meetings is evwn if it’s a Christian event you don’t just cook up hotdogs and hamburgers because a lot of the adventists are vegetarian. I wonder if it even registers he’s alienating people when he says stuff like that.  It might not.

Kevin McCarthy of all people said something on NBC’s election night last week that really struck me. He never had to worry about the Brian Fitzpatricks of the world, because they always ran in close races and knew how to win. It was the people in the light red seats, that either never have had or haven’t recently had a competitive race, that worried him the most, because they don’t know what a competitive race is like.

That it’s nearly June and the best the Texas GOP can come up with is “he’s a vegan,” is very telling about how they’re poised going into the fall. They have no idea how to win a close race and they’re *panicking* because of it.

Ironically, barbecue joints in Texas are going out of business because of the cost of steaks these day.

  9. they’re already running ads trashing him with this bullshit. They’re badly stitched together clips of him completely out of context and even faked an interview clip of him saying that trans kids are next in line behind god and his family.

They’re calling him “Low T Talarico” and it’s depressingly sad that that’s all it will take for the dipshits in this state voting Republican to vote for Paxton instead.

Ken Paxton gave a sweetheart deal to a kid-raping friend of his. So I’m not too concerned about rumors of veganism.

The fact that calling him a vegan might actually work is such an indictment of American politics

That’s the big smear?  Republicans have a pedo for President and “vegan” is supposed to be off putting.  Lol.

Man Republicans are just really weird. they don’t believe in American values they don’t believe in freedom and choices, and they they don’t believe in neighborly kindness. Why are they so weird. Democrats believe I. American values, freedom, choices and taking care of their neighbors whether they are done the street or across the country.

Will these people ever tire of being appealed to like they have the mental capacity of middle schoolers?

  15. Erratic_-Prophet on

Republicans are weird and never mentally progressed passed the middle school name calling phase of life.

  16. How long until they start saying he’ll outlaw hamburgers and pork ribs?

I saw a pro-Paxton ad on tv the other day (Houston) calling him “Low-T Talarico.” Their insecurity is showing.

  18. VirtuaFighter6 on

Prices are high. People are struggling. And the republicans are condoning all of it. Stay on message. Stay on message.

  19. Uncle_Tickle_Monster on

Republican candidate for Ohio governor, Vivek Ramaswamy, is a vegan. But we don’t hear any ads denouncing that here.

  20. waldorflover69 on

Crazy to me that they are shitting on vegans and vegetarians (which Talarico isn’t even) when THEIR dipshit president’s policies made meat too fucking expensive for average Americans.

  21. DeLoresDelorean on

    Vegetables = a crime.

Epstein files plus plundering your taxes for unlimited slush fund = not a crime.

  22. p4inkill3r713 on

I saw an attack advertisement yesterday during the Spurs game calling him Low-T Talarico.

  23. TheHumanGnomeProject on

Didn’t he famously order a potato, egg, and cheese taco? He doesn’t sound vegan to me.

  24. OhioPolitiTHIC on

Oh noes. A vegan. Anyway. Vote the GOP out of every office on the ballot you’re allowed to weigh in on, guardians of pedophiles and felators of the mega wealthy don’t belong anywhere near our government.*

*Ken Paxton has been credibly accused of numerous felonies including securities fraud, bribery and abuse of office, whistleblower retaliation, and most recently brokered a sweetheart plea deal for an admitted sexual predator of just one day in jail for the repeated molestation of a young boy. [Ken Paxton is a piece of shit.](https://www.texastribune.org/2026/05/19/ken-paxton-waco-plea-deal-child-sex-abuse-texas-attorney-general/)

    WHO. THE. FUCK. CARES?!

Who cares what he eats?! We need someone who pulls Texas back from being the laughingstock it is now. We need someone who doesn’t bend the knee to fascists.
