Self-driving vehicles should only be allowed on closed tracks, and not on public roads, until the technology is 100% as safe or better as human drivers. I don’t like being an unwilling participant.

I used to love the idea of self-driving cars when I was much younger (and still think the idea itself is kind of cool) but now? Not so much though its not just because of things like this but because of my views on other things like the necessity of more and better public transportation and the environment have developed.

I don’t know about self driving buses… The driver is also the security guard. They notice if someone is running late and wait for them. They can help people in wheelchairs if they need the little entry bridge thing folded out. And they fix doors when they get jammed or stuck.
