This is WAY more likely to be something more common like Malaria. Her only symptoms so far are body aches, and Uganda currently has less than 10 confirmed cases of Ebola.

  4. Literally 90 percent of what the US used to do on these situations is not happening now. It’s a perfect setup for this virus mutating into an h2h form under the radar. Not saying that will happen but this is the setup for it. I think that in reality it’s much more likely to happen with h5n1 considering how radically that virus has changed its behavior in the past 6 years.

  5. I am feeling a little sick, and my eyes are bleeding. I am thinking I need to run to the airport and fly a little.

Sounds like the woman has been monitored since arriving at the airport because she was coming from Uganda. She had no symptoms when she came through the airport, began having body aches 24 hrs later, and is under surveillance at a specialized hospital. Uganda only has 7 Ebola cases, so chances this is Ebola are low and—even if it is—chances it gets anywhere else are even lower.

Are Indians allowed to burn the bodies after they die? Idk about Hindu or other burial rituals.

If yes, I don’t think we should be too worried. From what it seems like, most transmission is very close or during burial rights which is why things have exploded in the DRC. if burning or creating bodies is allowed that helps.

  8. India is very well known for their hygiene, as one can see from their street food videos

    Hahahahahahaha

Fuck I’m sick of this timeline, and 2 days before Harambe’s anniversary to boot.

  10. At least they didn’t have overcrowding or sanitation issues to be concerned about.
