Whether it was arson hasn’t been confirmed (but it was probably arson). Still wouldn’t be quick to start with the accusations until it’s clear if someone did it, who it was, and why.
I am going to go with arson. Is this a far right tactic? It’s extremely violent. I predict more, the Oregon judge better beef up her security.

We have a word for groups who use violence and threats of violence to achieve political aims. I can’t quite recall, but give me a minute… it’ll come to me.
When a suspect is eventually found and turns out to be a card-carrying MAGA zealot, conservative media will paint him (because yes, it’ll be a white guy) as a patriot. Every podcaster rushing to fill the void left by Charlie will excuse his behavior and come up with hundreds of hours of content that’s just reasons as to why he actually did a good thing. There will be GoFundMe accounts set up for his legal defense which will pull in millions of dollars. He’ll be the right’s next Kyle Rittenhouse.
